This all-day event will take place on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Embassy Suites, Washington Square in Tigard, Oregon. China, Japan, India, Australia and a number of others are developing regulations similar to the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive), and maybe REACH-like legislation (registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals).
